Job summary

The University of Georgia in Athens, GA is seeking a Houseperson – Temporary to support housekeeping and laundry staff, remove soiled linen, restock closets, and maintain clean floors while responding to guest requests.

This position is up to 40 hours per week with the ability to work Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm and weekends as needed. It is a temporary assignment up to 12 months with no benefits. Background checks may be required.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirty linens and trash from hotel rooms, housekeeping carts, and hallways – 50% of time
• Stock housekeeping closets with linen, amenities, and supplies – 30% of time
• Assist in other hotel areas – 10% of time
• Clean carpets in hotel and public areas – 5% of time
• Participate in training sessions and departmental meetings – 5% of time
