Job summary

Maverick Gaming LLC in West Wendover, NV is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping House Person to support Housekeepers and Supervisors, cleaning hallways and guest areas and delivering great customer service.

Responsibilities include stocking, cleaning, trash removal, restroom upkeep, and coordinating with guests while maintaining safety and privacy. Experience in hospitality is preferred and punctuality is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality industry in similar position desirable.
• Detail-oriented with strong organization.
• Exceptional guest service skills.
• Able to work independently and follow priorities.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company and department policies and procedures and Maverick Cleaning and Sanitation Guidelines.
• Stock linens, strip and make beds.
• Assist housekeepers with upkeep of supplies and removal of trash.
• Assist in cleaning as requested.
• Clean restrooms and replace and maintain paper products as required.
• Use cleaning chemicals safely per surfaces and regulations.
• Clean hotel hallways, stairwells, and elevators.
• Wipe/clean/vacuum luggage carts.
• Clean Guest Laundry as needed.
• Communicate with guests professionally; handle complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure security of guest rooms and proper handling of lost items.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel fire and emergency procedures.
• Inspect rooms for safety hazards and report issues.
• Adhere to Lost and Found policy and key control.
• Follow cleaning schedules to meet high standards of cleanliness.
• Collect, transport, and store or dispose of trash, soiled linens, and biohazardous waste per policy.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Perform related and/or other duties as required.
