Job summary

DKN HOTEL GROUP in Oxnard, CA invites you to join our hospitality team as a housekeeper. You will help keep public areas and guest rooms clean, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for every guest and supporting maintenance tasks as needed.

This full-time role requires a minimum of one year in a similar position, basic cleaning and maintenance skills, and reliable English communication with guests and staff. Competitive hourly pay and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar or related position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to hotel guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members.
• Clean entire grounds of trash and cigarette butts.
• Run laundry and empty housekeepers’ trash.
• Clean lobby, exterior windows, hallways, walkways, railings, stairwells, pool furniture, ice and vending machines.
• Maintain cleanliness of dumpster areas, sand urns, exterior light fixtures, public benches, exterior of guest room doors.
• Shampoo carpets as assigned.
• Turn mattresses as assigned.
• Clean guestroom sliding glass doors as assigned.
• Report any missing/found articles, or damage to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist maintenance department with basic repairs (plumbing, carpentry).
• Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel.
• Deliver DKN’s "Home Away From Home" experience
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
