Job summary

Extended Stay America in Matthews, NC seeks a Housekeeper dedicated to delivering the best guest experience. You will clean guest rooms in accordance with company standards and procedures, maintain carts and laundry areas, stock supplies, and report maintenance issues to the front desk.

No prior experience required. You will follow instructions and guidelines, apply good judgment, and communicate effectively with the manager and staff.

• Ability to understand and follow guidelines and adhere to time objectives.
• Ability to engage in effective communication with manager and staff.
• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned guest rooms with adherence to company standards, policies and procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas to company standard.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as directed by management.
• Reports maintenance issues to the front desk and/or manager on duty.
• Assists and provides reasonable accommodation in response to guest requests when possible.
• Completes all required Extended Stay University training.
