Job summary

Quality Inn Seatac is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to oversee housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring high cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction at the Seatac location. You will assist in scheduling, reporting, and coordinating with Front Desk and leadership to maintain smooth daily operations.

The role requires supervisory experience, a minimum of two years in housekeeping, and a high school diploma. Flexible scheduling, weekends, and holidays are expected as part of the position.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the management and operation of housekeeping and laundry departments to ensure orderly and attractive conditions in the hotel.
• Assists GM in directing the activities of the housekeeping and laundry departments and furnishing exemplary daily cleaning service to guest rooms and all other areas of the hotel.
• Assists in the preparation of work schedules for staff based on projected occupancy.
• Provides guest room status reports to Front Desk, Executive Housekeeper, and General Manager.
• Inspects premises, guest rooms, linen rooms, and public areas to assure employees maintain the property’s superior standards of housekeeping.
• Helps maintain an inventory of guest and housekeeping supplies and linen, ordering replacement of supplies and equipment as needed.
• Creates a service environment focused on the guest, with a passion for high standards in cleanliness.
• Ensures good safety practices of employees and guests throughout the hotel, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures.
• Assists in the training and motivation of housekeeping staff.
• Performs room attendant duties, when required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position: Housekeeping Manager

Hours: 30-40 hours weekly

Pay Range: $21 starting hourly rate. Up to $24/hour based on experience.

• Ensures good safety practices of employees and guests throughout the hotel, assisting in the maintenance of proper emergency and security procedures.

What candidate traits are needed to be successful in this role?

• Minimum of one year of hotel management or supervisory experience.
• A minimum of one year of Choice or Best Western hotel working experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and a professional image.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent decision-making ability and analytical skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of prior hotel housekeeping experience.
• Basic purchasing and inventory skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
