Job summary

Guest Services Inc. seeks a Housekeeper to maintain clean guest rooms, restrooms, and public areas. You will strip and make beds, dust surfaces, vacuum floors, and restock supplies to ensure a spotless hotel environment.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, supporting green initiatives, and assisting guests and coworkers with a courteous service mindset. This role reports to the General Manager and supports operations across shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Strong sanitation habits and an ability to learn and follow important safety precautions.
• Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers.
• Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas as directed by management and in compliance with the Company’s green initiatives.
• Complete routine daily tasks to clean guest rooms, public restrooms, and public areas, including stripping and making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and vacuuming hallways.
• Dust and clean all furniture, frames, mirrors, windows, baseboards, carpet edges, and thresholds.
• Pull trash from receptacles and replace bags as needed.
• Move dirty linens and garbage to designated areas and stock linen closets.
• Perform laundry duties as assigned and report repairs as needed.
