Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a Housekeeper to clean hotel rooms in the Moriarty, NM area.

Housekeeper Duties and Responsibilities:

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards within the hotel. This role requires attention to detail, physical strength, and stamina for long shifts. Key duties include:

  1. Understanding and adhering to company policies on work shifts, guest possessions, and privacy.
  2. Performing basic housekeeping tasks such as changing sheets, replacing and arranging towels, restocking toiletries, vacuuming, dusting, and tidying rooms after guest checkout.
  3. Reporting and returning any guest property found during cleaning.
  4. Collaborating with team members during shifts.
  5. Cleaning, disinfecting, and storing equipment properly at shift end.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Knowledge of cleaning appliances, their operation, and proper use of cleaning agents.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Physical strength and stamina for extended work periods.
Experience and Requirements:
  • Strong awareness and attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning, including hard-to-reach areas.
  • Physical fitness to walk, bend, lift heavy items, and use stairs as needed.
