Job summary

ARK is seeking a diligent housekeeper for Extended Stay America Suites Premier in Katy, TX. The role focuses on cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay.

You will document rooms cleaned, handle lost and found items, and report damages or repairs needed while maintaining a welcoming, orderly environment for guests.

Qualifications

• 1+ years as a professional housekeeper or similar position.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guest rooms are clean and tidy according to hotel standards before guests arrive.
• Document rooms cleaned, and report lost and found items and any damage or repairs needed.
• Keep common spaces such as the lobby, hallways, and restrooms clean and stocked with supplies.
• Reply to general questions guests have during their stay.
• Vacuum, mop, make beds, dust and polish furniture, stock rooms with toiletries, and do laundry as needed.
• Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Experience with a variety of cleaning products and techniques.

We’re in search of a housekeeper to ensure guest satisfaction during their stay with us. Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, making beds, doing laundry, ironing sheets, and other general cleaning duties as assigned. The ideal candidate is a cleaning enthusiast, a team player, and a highly-organized professional.

Compensation
