Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy guest rooms and common areas according to established hotel standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and public spaces.
• Ensure proper use and care of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance issues or damages in guest rooms to the appropriate department.
• Collaborate with front desk and maintenance staff to coordinate guest requests and room turnovers.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
• Follow health and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Uphold privacy and security standards for guests and their belongings.
• Assist in deep cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.

Comprising of the Historic Main Inn, the East and West Plazas as well as the standalone Garden Apartment, the Colonial Inn provides guests with clean, comfortable rooms in a unique, historic, guest-centered environment, serving as home away from home for families and individuals. Being the sole hotel within Harbor Springs, we are also a choice destination for weddings and other milestone events.

As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive guest experience through impeccable room presentation and cleanliness. The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Compensation & Benefits
