Hampton Inn & Suites Denton - a805 is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to maintain guest room cleanliness and uphold brand standards across the property.

Responsibilities include receiving room assignments, restocking carts, reporting issues, and following safety guidelines. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Obtain room assignments from your Supervisor/Manager at the beginning of the shift.
• Notify Housekeeping Supervisor that the room is clean and whether it is occupied or vacant.
• Restock your cart, remove any trash and dirty linen, at the end of the shift so it is ready for the next day.
• Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc., to the Safety/Security Department.
• Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning resources
• Promptly reports emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, engineering items and safety hazards to management
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures

Job Description:

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness of guest rooms.

Required Skills and Requisites:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to communicate in the English language
• Ability to read and understand directions on cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to use chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

• Obtain room assignments from your Supervisor/Manager at the beginning of the shift
• Notify Housekeeping Supervisor that the room is clean and whether it is occupied or vacant.
• Restock your cart, remove any trash and dirty linen, at the end of the shift so it is ready for the next day.

MUST-HAVES:

• Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
• Able to lift, bend and stand for extended periods of time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
• Available to work a varied schedule that will include evenings, weekends and holidays
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible
• Must possess the ability to handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner
