Job summary

Ascent Hospitality Management is hiring a House Attendant for Home2 Suites by Hilton Gulfport. You will help keep public areas clean, assist with guest requests, and support the housekeeping team to maintain hotel standards.

You’ll work in a guest-facing role with a focus on reliability, teamwork, and a welcoming atmosphere. Training is available, and benefits support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, housekeeping, or custodial experience preferred; training available.
• Dependable, team-oriented approach and strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean spaces.
• Friendly, professional communication and guest-focused attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to stand and lift during shifts, with or without accommodation.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned public areas including lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms and other common spaces.
• Keep breakfast area, fitness center, and other guest facilities clean and presentable.
• Deliver linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and storage areas.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Remove trash and soiled linen and transport to proper locations.
• Maintain housekeeping closets, storage areas, carts and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, lost-and-found items, and guest-room issues.
• Assist with cleaning and preparing guest rooms as needed.
• Follow hotel procedures for cleaning products, equipment, and guest property.
• Support during busy periods and assist with special cleaning projects.
• Maintain professional, helpful presence with guests and team members.
• Follow Hilton brand standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

As a House Attendant, you will help keep our hotel clean, comfortable, and welcoming for guests and team members. You’ll support the Housekeeping team by maintaining public areas, assisting with guest requests, and helping ensure our suites and shared spaces meet hotel cleanliness and service standards.

What You Will Do

• Clean and maintain assigned public areas, including the lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, and other common spaces.

• Assist Housekeeping with delivering linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and storage areas.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, such as delivering extra towels or supplies.
• Remove trash and soiled linen from designated areas and transport them to the appropriate locations.
• Help maintain housekeeping closets, storage areas, carts, and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, lost-and-found items, and guest-room issues to the appropriate team member.
• Assist with cleaning and preparing guest rooms or other areas when needed.
• Follow hotel procedures for handling cleaning products, equipment, and guest property.
• Support the Housekeeping team during busy periods and assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Maintain a professional, helpful presence when interacting with guests and team members.
• Follow Hilton brand standards, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
