Overview

Maintain the building to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests, associates, and vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Stock linen closets with amenities and supplies for room attendants; may include delivering supplies to rooms.
2. Empty carts of soiled linen and trash.
3. Clean corridor walls, doors, mirrors, room numbers, and elevator doors.
4. Vacuum, sweep, and mop hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers.
5. Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned.
6. Maintain regular attendance and be available to work.
7. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Preferred hotel experience.
2. Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
3. Maintain a professional appearance and manner.
4. Good communication skills with guests.
5. Team player willing to assist colleagues.
6. Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods; lifting up to 100 lbs with accommodations.
7. Follow instructions effectively.
8. Strong verbal and written communication skills adaptable to different audiences.

Compensation

Hourly salary: $21.00. Tipped/Service charge: No. Performance bonus: No.
