Job summary

InTown Suites seeks a General Manager for its Plano property to lead daily operations, drive guest satisfaction, and optimize financial performance. You will recruit and develop staff, oversee front-office functions, and manage budgets and capital projects to maintain a safe, high-quality guest experience.

The role requires strong leadership, accounting acumen, and excellent communication within a dynamic extended-stay environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• English language proficiency.
• Ability to read and interpret information from reports and internal hotel data.
• Strong math skills for forecasts, room revenue, occupancy, and labor costs.
• General computer proficiency.
• Front Office knowledge and guest relations expertise.
• Ability to work long hours and manage multiple tasks.
• Clear communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview and hire property staff.
• Train and develop property staff.
• Oversee office operations including guest check-in/out, cash handling, and payroll.
• Ensure excellent guest service.
• Develop expertise on computer systems used at the property.
• Identify and manage maintenance and repair needs.
• Assist with capital expenditure planning and projects.
• Monitor life/safety issues and inspections.
• Drive revenue through pricing and local marketing recommendations.
• Meet budgets via P&L analysis and cost/inventory control.
• Assist in annual budget preparation and market monitoring.
• Collaborate with local authorities and stakeholders.
• Support recruitment and training of other General Managers.
