Shamin Hotels in Ashland, VA seeks a Hotel General Manager to lead all aspects of hotel operations, guest experience, and profitability. The role requires delivering exceptional service, guiding a diverse team, and driving performance across departments including front desk, housekeeping, and F&B.

Responsibilities include shaping strategy, managing budgets, forecasting revenue, controlling costs, and partnering with sales to maximize occupancy and RevPAR while maintaining the highest standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Extensive experience in hospitality with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Previous experience in hotel management roles (Assistant General Manager, Director of Operations, or Department Head).
• Strong leadership, team management, and achieving operational and financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hotel's operations to ensure smooth functioning, guest experience, and profitability.
• Provide strong leadership to staff and department heads; hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and discipline as needed.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for efficiency.
• Monitor performance metrics (occupancy, RevPAR, guest satisfaction) and take corrective actions.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and address complaints promptly.
• Develop and manage the hotel's annual budget with revenue forecasting and cost control.
• Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to attract guests and drive revenue.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
