Holiday Inn Express in Kentucky seeks a General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations and provide leadership for guest services, staff development, and profitability. You will set strategic plans, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with standards.

The General Manager oversees daily hotel operations of Holiday Inn Expressand provides overall leadership in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest services, staff development, and financial profitability within established quality standards. Provides leadership and strategic planning to maximize operations.

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
Three to five years of management experience in the hotel or hospitality industry.

Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

There are a number of daily deadlines associated with this position, which may cause stress to some individuals. The position must also deal with a wide variety of people and may encounter conflict.
Regularly scheduled 40 hours per week, but overtime and weekend hours could be required at times.
