Caesars Entertainment’s Harrah’s Council Bluffs property is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance in guestrooms and the facility, ensuring safe, reliable operations. Responsible for performing preventative maintenance in guestrooms and facilities to ensure safe, reliable operations.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Conduct routine preventative maintenance inspections of guest rooms, including testing and replacing light fixtures, HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, televisions, appliances, door hardware, locks, safety devices, and room furnishings.
Replace filters, light bulbs, batteries, and other consumable items according to maintenance schedules.
Identify and address minor repairs before they impact guest satisfaction, document completed work, and report issues requiring additional maintenance or replacement, significant repair needs, and safety concerns to Facilities leadership.
Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance tasks and inspections.
Ensure all work complies with applicable safety standards, company policies, and hotel operating procedures.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
Assist with room readiness and turnover projects as needed.
Support facility maintenance initiatives that improve guest satisfaction and asset longevity.
Respond to maintenance requests when assigned during periods of high demand.
Presents oneself as a credit to Company and encourages others to do the same.
Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience performing minor repairs, home maintenance, remodeling, landscaping, construction, or similar hands‑on work is desired.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to work inside and maneuver throughout the entire property
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to complete all appropriate paperwork
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends
May be required to work overtime due to business needs (i.e. snow, weather, system failure, etc.)
Must be able to speak, read, and write and understand English
Must be able to maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance and uphold the company appearance standards.
Adheres to departmental and company policies and maintains compliance with all regulatory, governmental, and safety requirements.
Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 100 lbs., and ability to push, pull up to 200 lbs, as well as climb, reach, bend, twist, stoop and stack.
