Job Description

Hotel Front Office Manager - Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte Airport / Billy Graham Parkway.

Courtyard by Marriott Charlotte Airport / Billy Graham Parkway is a high-volume and fast-paced hotel. The Front Office Manager must have the flexibility to work evening shifts ranging from 3:00 pm to 2:00 am, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will lead by example and set a “Can Do” attitude for the team, possessing above-average critical thinking skills.

Candidate Experience

Marriott experience is required, with a major emphasis on Fosse, GXP, MGS, and Marriott training standards, as well as some experience in food and beverage.

Responsibilities
  • Provide solid leadership and work alongside your team during busy periods.
  • Ensure all customer service-related tasks are handled accurately and promptly to enhance guest experience.
  • Review Guest Ledger Reports daily and ensure all in-house guests have appropriate payments as per company policy.
  • Address and close all Guest Voice notifications within Marriott's required time frame.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping manager to ensure all rooms are properly recorded in Fosse and address discrepancies.
  • Assist in the Bistro restaurant when needed.
  • Ensure all associates are in uniform with name tags.
  • Hold a valid North Carolina driver’s license and be willing to drive the hotel shuttle if required.
  • Complete scheduling within budget guidelines.
  • Maintain inventory levels for front desk supplies.
  • Be willing to cover open shifts when necessary.
