Job summary

Delaware North Parks and Resorts at Tenaya Lodge in Fish Camp, California, is seeking a full-time Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to lead the front desk team and deliver exceptional guest service. The role includes supervising operations, scheduling staff, and ensuring quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• At least 3 years in hospitality; front desk experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

• Train and supervise the front desk team to meet quality standards, deadlines and procedures.
• Provide guidance on handling difficult problems and escalated guest complaints.
• Implement policies, procedures and service standards with management.
• Prepare and issue work schedules and duty assignments for staff.
• Handle cash and maintain records for inventory and orders.

What will you do?

• Train and supervise the front desk team members to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures; evaluate team member job performance and recommend appropriate rewards or corrective actions
• Provide team members with guidance on handling difficult problems or in resolving escalated guest complaints
• Implement policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management
• Prepare and issue work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for office or administrative team members
• Handle cash; maintain records pertaining to inventory, team, orders, and supplies
• Operate a company vehicle as needed
  
  

More About You

• Must be at least 18 years old
• At least three years of experience in hospitality, front desk experience is preferred
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Computer literate in MS Office programs; some experience with property management systems preferred
• Must be fluent in English language both spoken and written
• No college degree required
