Job summary

The Marriott Suites Deerfield is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead financial operations for the property. Crescent Hotels & Resorts delivers competitive compensation and a strong benefits package while supporting career growth for its associates.

Key duties include managing cash flow, cash reporting, balance sheet accuracy, internal controls, and compliance with regulations. The role requires five+ years as a hotel director of finance, a finance degree, and proficiency in P&L

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as Hotel Director of Finance.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Proven P&L, forecasting, budgeting, cash management and financial controls.
• Knowledge of Profitsage, M3, Birchstreet preferred.
• Marriott systems experience preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
• Self-starting personality with even disposition.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong computer and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the financial impact on business decisions.
• Notify management promptly of financial deviations from policies or control weaknesses.
• Manage cash flow and prepare cash-flow statements, receivables, and deposits.
• Monitor revenues/expenses and ensure accurate recording per guidelines.
• Coordinate forecasts and budgets with management.
