Marriott Virginia Beach Oceanfront Resort is seeking an Assistant Director of Finance to support the hotel’s financial operations, safeguarding assets and producing reports per HEI standards. The role involves overseeing accounting functions, budgeting, and ensuring accurate financial statements.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Accounting with at least one year of hotel or hospitality finance experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting.
• One year experience in Hotel or Hospitality related Finance and Accounting.
• Knowledge of Hotel Financial Statements and reconciliation of A and L accounts.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Finance in directing the financial activities of the hotel and preparing financial reports.
• Perform all accounting functions as needed to support the finance team.
• Schedule, monitor, and evaluate controllable departmental expenditures within the budget.
