Job summary

Aspen Skiing Company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer I for Limelight Mammoth. This full-time role handles general maintenance across rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and exterior areas, reporting to the Director of Engineering.

The position requires a high school diploma and 2 years in mechanical fields (HVAC, electrical, plumbing). Pay is USD 20–23 per hour, with benefits and opportunities to support a year-round property in Mammoth Lakes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience in mechanical fields such as HVAC, electrical and/or plumbing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete general maintenance requests inside and outside the hotel.
• Tape, spackle, and paint walls.
• Respond promptly to guest room calls.
• Track, complete, and prioritize work orders.
• Help plan and coordinate projects during the off season.
• Perform safety inspections.
• Ensure OSHA and GHS compliance.
• Identify process improvements.
• Report safety hazards or suspicious activity to management.
• Monitor fire detection systems and assist with evacuations.
• Complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Interact with guests daily.
• Other duties as assigned.
