Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment such as chillers, boilers, water softeners, and refrigeration equipment.
• Must have thorough knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, maintenance of records of power, water, and fuel consumption.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the facilities for the hotels, including building structure, mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Veri fy completion of routine maintenance, repairs, renovations in all areas interior and exterior.
• Assist in hiring, training, supervising, and disciplining department staff.
• Adhere to corporate purchasing policies, bids, budgets, and OSHA safety procedures.
• Maintain Energy Management and Preventive Maintenance programs and train other departments.
