Holiday Inn Express in Middletown, RI is seeking a Full-Time Hotel Maintenance Engineer. You will maintain the building and grounds, operate equipment and electrical systems, and support daily hotel operations on a Monday–Friday schedule with weekend call-ins only in emergencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HVAC, troubleshooting and servicing up to your ability.
• Ability to inspect and diagnose building systems and equipment.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and hazard awareness.
• Pool chemistry knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviews maintenance problems, complaints and work orders to prioritize and schedule work assignments.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs electrical/mechanical systems and equipment.
• Inspects property to identify needs and plans maintenance programs.
• Solicits bids from contractors and ensures work meets specs.
• Coordinates with inspectors to ensure code compliance.
• Performs preventive maintenance on a schedule.
• Maintains pool by adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters.
• Maintains exterior like lawn care or painting when needed.
