Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment including kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, pool, HVAC, electrical, and guest rooms.
• Monitor engineering functions when full staff is unavailable; respond to emergencies and notify authorities when needed.
• Inspect property on rounds and ensure systems are functioning properly.
• Maintain logs, complete work orders, and document parts used and purchases needed.
• Handle elevator breakdowns and maintain preventive maintenance records.
