A luxurious accommodation in Sunny Isles Beach is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff and ensure guest comfort. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of HVAC experience, leadership skills, and the ability to foster team morale. Engineering Supervisor – The Sunny, Sunny Isles Beach

Responsibilities

Oversee the maintenance and repair of all mechanical and electrical equipment within the hotel, ensuring guests have a safe and comfortable stay. Maintain high morale for the engineering shift, teach engineering staff how to maintain and repair equipment, solicit suggestions and input from team members, coach and counsel staff effectively, and consistently achieve department standards. Address problems with employees promptly as they arise.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak, and understand English
• 3–5 years of experience with hospital, institutional, or HVAC systems preferred
• Refrigeration or HVAC certification, or journeyman level experience
• 2–3 years of management or supervisory experience
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, emergency, and preventative maintenance systems and related disciplines
• Meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
• Valid driver’s license preferred
