Job summary

Harraseeket Inn & Event House in Freeport, Maine is seeking a hardworking dishwasher for a part-time role on site.

You will support the back-of-house team by keeping dishes, pans and kitchen tools clean, and ensuring sanitation and health-code compliance.

Flexible hours include mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with weekends and holidays required; compensation starts at $16 per hour plus gratuity, with benefits such as on-site discounts.

Qualifications

• Part-time dishwasher position in Freeport, ME with 20–30 hours weekly.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to lift or push up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of kitchen and restaurant safety and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work onsite and be flexible for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.
• Wash and sanitize all pans, utensils, and dishes.
• Empty trash containers regularly.
• Ensure all areas of the kitchen, food prep, and food storage areas are clean and properly sanitized.
• Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and in good working order.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
