About the Hotel: Courtyard by Marriott Lakewood Ranch offers a Bistro Restaurant & Bar with healthy breakfast options, Starbucks products, evening dining with a full bar, and gathering spaces. It is part of Buffalo Lodging Associates, an award-winning hotel management company.

Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing hot and cold food items for the restaurant and catering functions.
  • Ensuring all items meet company, brand, and health standards.
  • Preparing foods of consistent quality, including special requests, and adjusting kitchen equipment.
  • Forecasting food needs based on occupancy and controlling food waste per SOP.
  • Managing food storage, rotation, and temperature controls.
  • Assisting in kitchen duties such as cleaning, dishwashing, and prep work.
Typical Shifts:

This role includes both AM and PM shifts, with flexible scheduling suitable for part-time work or extra income.

Qualifications:
  • Preferred: 1 year hotel food prep or cooking experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to learn company procedures related to guest service.
