Job summary

The Highlands at Harbor Springs is seeking a dependable Indoor Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team, responsible for maintaining hotel and condominium guest rooms by responding to service calls and completing work orders.

Ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and willing to learn various aspects of hotel maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs. This is a full-time, year-round position with extensive employee perks and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No minimum experience required; training available.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance, plumbing, and HVAC desired.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel and condominium guest rooms to ensure safety, functionality and guest readiness.
• Respond to maintenance service calls and work orders promptly and professionally.
• Replace light bulbs and lighting fixtures as needed.
• Replace and maintain HVAC air filters.
• Perform minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks or replacing fixtures.
• Assist with maintenance and basic troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of rooms and maintenance equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment while following safety procedures.
