Shaner Hotels is seeking a Chief Engineer for the Courtyard Daytona Beach Speedway/Airport. You will lead the Engineering department, overseeing the operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure guest safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating a preventive maintenance program, and enforcing safety and codes. Strong leadership and bilingual abilities are valued for this role at a premier Daytona Beach property.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a hotel maintenance/engineering setting.
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, staff and management.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and safety compliance knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and mechanical/engineering documentation.

Responsabilités

• Oversee all aspects of the Engineering department including operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Develop and monitor a maintenance program to ensure safety, security and guest comfort.
• Chair Safety Committee and enforce hotel safety standards across staff.
• Hire, train, and supervise Engineering staff; manage budgets and workflows.
