Job summary

Residence Inn Bellevue, part of Highgate Hotels, is hiring a Full Time Breakfast Attendant to provide exceptional service in the hotel’s complimentary breakfast area in Bellevue, WA.

The role requires attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and the ability to multitask during busy mornings. Must be willing to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is hourly, $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, with benefits for full-time associates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or hotel-related experience preferred.
• Must be willing to work evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to obtain Food Handlers card as required by city/state.
• Must meet legal age to serve alcohol and pass responsible serving course such as TIPs if required by property.
• Must be able to read, comprehend and write simple instructions and/or short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to communicate professionally with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform and name tag.
• Assist with beverage and food service and prepare drinks as required.
• Clear, clean and reset tables and hotel spaces per instruction.
• Ensure service areas are stocked, organized, clean, and neat; complete side work each shift.
• Answer questions about the hotel, brand standards, and local area attractions.
• Perform opening/closing procedures and side work duties as assigned.
• Produce high quality drinks including specialty coffee and tea drinks and beverages as required.
