We have an exciting new opportunity to join our corporate team as a Hotel Asset Evaluation Manager. In this key position, you will be tasked with inspecting and reviewing assets while developing in-depth reporting regarding the hotel's condition and mechanical systems.

This position does require weekly travel.

Responsibilities
  • Regularly inspect and evaluate the hotel's physical assets, including rooms, common areas, equipment, and fixtures, to assess their condition and identify any needed repairs or upgrades.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure assets are properly maintained and in optimal working order, minimizing downtime and maximizing asset life.
  • Analyze financial data related to maintenance costs, capital expenditures, and operating expenses to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain open communication with the hotel's general manager, department heads, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on asset management priorities and goals.
  • Ensure the hotel property complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, including those related to safety, accessibility, and environmental protection.
  • Identify and assess potential risks related to the hotel's physical assets, such as equipment failures, natural disasters, or fire hazards, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of capital improvement projects to enhance the hotel's physical appearance, functionality, and guest experience.
  • Implement and manage systems for tracking assets, inventory, and maintenance records to ensure accurate data and facilitate informed decision-making.
Qualifications

  • Experience in asset management, property management, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and/or certifications.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
