SLS LUX Brickell is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee all financial operations under the Director of Finance. This role ensures financial integrity, prepares statements, manages AP/AR, payroll, and collaborates with leaders to optimize performance across properties.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in hotel finance, strong Excel skills, and a hands-on leadership style in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
• 3-5 years of hotel finance and accounting experience in a similar sized operation.
• Knowledge of GAAP and USALI standards.
• Proficiency in Excel and hotel accounting systems (Opera, Micros).
• Proven leadership and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting functions and day-to-day operations.
• Prepare consolidated financial reports, forecasts and budgets.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes.
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations and P&L.
• Coordinate with department heads to optimize cost and revenue.
• Support financial reviews and liaise with corporate finance as needed.
• Provide training to staff and ensure compliance with policies.
