Atrium Hospitality's East Peoria Embassy Suites is seeking an Accounting Associate to join its team. Based in East Peoria, IL, you will perform daily income audits, billing, accounts payable, and deposit tasks to keep the hotel's finances in order.

The role requires at least one year of accounting experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with POS/PMS systems. Previous hotel accounting or front desk exposure is a plus, with opportunities for career growth within Atrium.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounting experience — you've got the basics down and are ready to take on more.
• Previous hotel accounting or front desk experience is a plus — familiarity with hotel ops helps you shine.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and working knowledge of POS/PMS systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily income audit, billing, collections, accounts payable, and deposit tasks to keep everything financially shipshape.
• Protect guest and company information with integrity.
• Support the hotel team with clerical and accounting tasks that help things run smoother.
• Jump in to resolve accounting issues quickly and kindly—guests and teammates alike will appreciate your calm confidence.
• Help corporate close the books with clean ledgers and accurate reports using Excel, Workbooks, and Access.
