Job summary

Collegiate Hotel Group is seeking a Bus Person to join Hotel 1928 and its team of hospitality enthusiasts. You will greet guests, assist with bussing and seating, and help maintain a high standard of service across the dining areas.

The role requires flexibility in hours, effective communication, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Employee benefits include daily pay, health options, 401k, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar or supportive role is preferred.
• Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Awareness Certification (if applicable).
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome our guests.
• Deliver food orders for guests based on restaurant needs.
• Assist with bussing and resetting tables throughout service.
• Understand menu offerings and speak knowledgeably about items.
• Acquaint yourself with art and decor in the hotel and speak on them.
• Be a spokesperson for the Community and know local spots to recommend.
• Complete side work duties.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and welcome our guests
• Deliver food orders for guests based on restaurant needs
• Assists with bussing and resetting tables throughout service
• Thoroughly understands menu offerings and can speak to each item knowledgeably to customers
• Ensure you are acquainted with the art and decor in the hotel and be able to speak on them.
• Be a spokesperson for the Community and be able to know local spots to recommend.
• Complete side work duties
• Assist wait staff as needed
• Follow uniform and grooming specifications
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
