Schedule: Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays during peak season

Tarson Pools and Spas is looking for a motivated Hot Tub Service Technician to join our growing spa service team in Central New York.

This is a full-time opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, troubleshooting, customer interaction, and learning a skilled trade. The right candidate will have the opportunity to be trained in hot tub diagnostics, repair, water care, maintenance, and customer education.

Responsibilities

As a Hot Tub Service Technician, you will:

• Diagnose and repair hot tub issues
• Troubleshoot pumps, heaters, controls, jets, plumbing, and water care systems
• Perform hot tub cleanings, openings, closings, and routine maintenance
• Complete service calls at customer homes throughout Central New York
• Educate customers on spa operation, maintenance, and water care
• Perform customer orientations for new spa owners when needed
• Learn Jacuzzi® hot tub service procedures and best practices
• Maintain accurate service notes and communicate clearly with the service team
• Keep tools, parts, vehicle, and work areas organized
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Recommend repairs, upgrades, or replacement parts when appropriate
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• Clean driving record preferred
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly
• Ability to perform physical work outdoors
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and stay organized
• Willingness to learn and be trained
• Previous mechanical, electrical, plumbing, pool, spa, HVAC, appliance repair, or service experience is helpful but not required

Preferred Experience

• Driving: 1 year preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, or hot tub service experience is a plus
