Job Duties

As the North American headquarters for G-TEKT Corporation, Jefferson Industries actively participates in the Global Automotive Industry. We offer design and development for press dies and other tools necessary to produce automotive products. Our programs include product design review and Advanced Product Quality Planning. We support high-quality manufacturing and aim to meet customer needs promptly and flexibly.

We are seeking an Apprentice to join our Hot Stamp Maintenance team on 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am).

Job Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety policies and correctly use PPE.
  • Perform daily and bi-weekly inspections on laser cells, reporting findings in PLEX inspection reports.
  • Assist with inspections on all machines and report findings.
  • Learn all machine operations.
  • Support shutdown activities.
  • Verify and stock needed spare parts, including non-controlled items.
  • Perform basic maintenance activities, including wiring if necessary.
  • Record all work in Plex, including details and duration.
  • Support other shifts as needed to fill technician vacancies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
