Position: Experienced Hot Side Cook

Our acclaimed downtown steakhouse is seeking an experienced hot side cook. We are looking for a self-motivated individual capable of handling high volume and thriving in a demanding work environment. Candidates must have at least two years of similar experience in a high-volume restaurant (300+ covers per shift) with verifiable references. Responsibilities include routine preparation, following recipes, advanced knife skills, and proper equipment operation and handling.

Must Have:

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Flexible availability, including nights and weekends
• At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant
• Ability to sustain high energy activities, handle stress, and remain calm under pressure
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Reliable and predictable attendance
• Relevant training or experience demonstrating necessary skills and knowledge
• Ownership of work and accountability

Compensation:

Average $23-30/hour plus commissions (base rate $20.76-25/hour + 1.5% of gross sales).
