Job summary

Driven Distribution Group, the holding company for Chicago Parts & Sound Enterprises, is seeking a Hot Shot Local Delivery Driver to safely operate company vehicles and deliver products to customer locations. The role includes loading/unloading, vehicle checks, and supporting warehouse tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR, and strong communication and customer service skills.

Position Summary

The Hot Shot Local Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to deliver products to specified customer locations. This role includes loading and unloading goods, performing vehicle checks, and supporting general warehouse operations as needed. Additional hours may be required depending on delivery needs.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position works in both indoor warehouse and outdoor settings, with exposure to seasonal weather conditions.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to handle or feel objects, reach with their arms, and communicate effectively by speaking and hearing. The role frequently involves standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and may occasionally require sitting or climbing. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move items weighing over 100 pounds. Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements

To ensure safety and compliance, employees in this role are required to always wear steel-toe or composite safety shoes.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
