Job Overview:
The Hot Shot Driver is responsible for transporting and delivering goods quickly and efficiently, often over long distances. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a strong understanding of logistics and delivery protocols. This position could include/transition into Heavy Haul, Timber and Self Loader driving as well, using a Semi/Tractor and Trailer.

Qualifications:
• Valid Driver’s License – A Commercial Driver’s License (Class A CDL) is required.
• Experience in Trucking or Delivery Driving – Prior experience in logistics, trucking, or delivery services can be beneficial.
• Strong Navigation and Time Management Skills – Hot Shot Drivers must plan efficient routes and meet tight delivery deadlines.
• Basic Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge – Drivers should be able to perform routine maintenance checks and minor repairs.
• Ability to Work Under Pressure – Since hot shot trucking involves expedited deliveries, drivers must handle stress and work efficiently.
• Understanding of Cargo Regulations – Depending on the type of freight, additional certifications may be required to transport hazardous or specialized materials.
