Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Hot Press Operator for Moorhead, MN. The night shift runs 7:00 pm to 7:00 am on a rotating schedule with every other weekend off.

Position offers $25.43 per hour base with a $1 differential and eligibility for annual and skill-based wage increases. Responsibilities include operating thermoforming equipment, troubleshooting, and maintaining production records.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines safely and at required levels of operation.
• Troubleshoot and adjust machines to resolve issues.
• Provide innovative solutions for production problems.
• Mentor and guide less experienced personnel.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork including crew time and production data.
• Inspect for defects and adjust machines to correct causes.
• Follow housekeeping, standard work and safety guidelines.

Job Description

Hot Press Operator|Moorhead,MN|HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Compensation:

• $25.43 an hour for the night shift (Base: $24.43, plus $1 differential)
• Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increases

Available Shift:

Night Shift 7:00 pm - 7:00 am rotating schedule with every other weekend off

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consistently and safely operates machines at or above standard levels of operation including waste, quality, efficiency and utilization
• Trouble shoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine
• Provide innovative solutions for production issues
• Provides support and guidance to less experienced personnel
• Completes appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crewing time, machine time, and production quantities
• Able to inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects
• Observes all housekeeping, standard work and safety guidelines
• Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated problem solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required
