Luxfer Superform in Riverside, California is seeking an experienced operator for the hot forming hydraulic press process, working with aluminum sheets to produce components for OEMs. The role includes loading, unloading, tooling prep, and basic maintenance, with emphasis on safety and accurate documentation.

You will read blueprints, verify parts meet specs, and contribute to AS9100 quality records. Shifts include first and second, with pay ranging from $19.00 to $24.00 per hour and shift

Competenze

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with hot forming hydraulic press and related equipment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform measurement with basic tools.
• Knowledge of safety requirements in manufacturing areas.

Mansioni

• Prepare material for SPF forming, including loading and unloading tools for forming aluminum parts.
• Monitor parts to ensure they meet manufacturing specifications.
• Safely operate the hot forming press.
• Prepare formed parts for subsequent processes (plasma cutting, clean line, trimming).
• Perform minor maintenance on machinery and inspect parts using measurement tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints; complete production and quality documentation per AS9100.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and comply with OSHA/EPA/regulations.
