Job summary

Luxfer Superform in Riverside, California, seeks an experienced CNC/Laser Operator to run Rye with Fagor, Haas VF9 with trunnion, and Prima Laser. The role requires maintaining part quality, performing inspections, and deburring as needed.

Luxfer Superform operates from Riverside, California. We specialize in Superforming of aluminum alloys as a 1st Tier supplier to major OEMs. Established in 1974, Superform serves customers in all its major markets including aerospace, automotive and rail industries. We are seeking candidates with experience in operating CNC/Laser equipment.

Essential Functions of the Job

• Operate CNC machines (5-Axis machines), Rye with Fagor control, Haas VF9 with trunnion and Prima Laser.
• Monitor and ensure parts meet manufacturing requirements.
• Perform inspection of parts using measurement tools (calipers, height gauge, etc.).
• Deburr parts as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills and Requirements

• Two or more years' experience preferred.
• Experience operating the following machines: Rye with Fagor control, Haas VF9 with trunnion and Prima Laser.
• Knowledge of inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, pin gauges).
• Understanding of GD&T.
• Follow all Safe Operating Practices and Company Safety Procedures ensuring a clean and safe work area at all times. Ability to work in a professional manner, following all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, State and Federal Regulations.
• Be a flexible, self-starter and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Machine or technical training or set-up experience a plus.
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred..

Other Information:

Hours: Monday through Friday 5:30am - 2:00pm

Pay range for this role is $21-$26 per hour based on experience.
