Job summary

Indiana Furniture is seeking a Hot Press Crew member in Jasper, IN to support lamination and panel processing on a full-time basis. The role involves handling glue spreaders, stacking and aligning veneer, and ensuring safety while operating hot presses.

Ideal candidates can lift up to 50 lbs and regularly handle around 20 lbs, with willingness to work as part of a manufacturing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to catch boards from glue spreader and lamination process.
• Ability to deal with hot glue and handle panels safely.

Responsibilities

• Catch boards from glue spreader and place in buck for lamination.
• Monitor glue spread on panels.
• Ability to deal with hot glue.
• Select and place cover boards for stacked panels.
• Help with cleaning and set up of glue spreader at start and end of shift.
• Ability to stack panels as they come off the hot press.
• Stage veneer to be ran on press.
• Lift up to 50 lbs maximum and up to 20 lbs regularly.
