Hot Pit Truck Driver

Phoenix Global is accepting applications for a Hot Pit Truck Driver at SDI in Roanoke

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Perform on-site heavy equipment operations, which involve positioning and moving front loaders, haul trucks, and skid loaders

Loading, extracting, and transporting materials, including molten steel

Handling components, modules, and systems of heavy equipment

Converting heavy equipment with various mobile accessories

Observing relevant safety, accident prevention, and environmental regulations

Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to the supervisor

Maintain and protect all property

Maintain all required certifications required by OSHA and the company safety programs

Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations

Responsible for the safe operation of heavy, earth-moving mobile equipment.

Capable of performing equipment inspection, greasing, cleaning & documentation.
