Job summary

Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking a Hot Mills Specialist to coordinate production flow, material movement, dispatching, inventory control, and order fulfillment across the #5 Mill and related operations.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing operations, scheduling, and material handling, with emphasis on safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Knowledge of ISO/QS quality systems and leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Experience with shop floor systems and production reporting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production flow and material movement across the #5 Mill.
• Oversee dispatching, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Act as liaison between operations, planning, and quality teams to optimize throughput.
• Promote safe work practices and drive SQDC performance.
