TMS International is seeking a Hot Pit Loader for our Seguin, TX location. The role requires operating wheel loaders, handling hot slag/steel, and adhering to safety protocols.

Expect rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends, with a focus on reliable attendance and proper inspections. Starting pay is $22/hr, and we provide a comprehensive benefits package after 90 days, along with 401(k) and other core benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with reliable attendance.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to site.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Operate Caterpillar or Komatsu wheel loaders safely.
• Work rotating 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends.
• Handle hot material such as slag and steel with safety protocols.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and document findings.
• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Maintain clear radio and team communication.
• Ensure equipment is safe and ready for daily use.
• Report any unsafe conditions or damage promptly.

TMS is currently looking for a Hot Pit Loader at our Seguin, TX location.

Pay: Starts at $22/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Experience in operating Caterpillar or Komatsu wheel loaders.
• Ability to work rotating 12‑hour shifts; nights and weekends included.
• Ability to work with hot material such as slag and steel safely.
• Perform proper pre‑operational inspections and document findings.
• Conduct regular maintenance on equipment before and after use, such as cleaning windows, washing, and assisting with greasing.
• Good radio and work communication with other employees.
• Ensure equipment is safe and prepared for daily use.
• Communicate any unsafe findings or equipment damage immediately to supervision.

• Reliable attendance required.
