Responsibilities:

• Receive food and beverage orders, check delivery notes, verify quantity and quality received, and reject unacceptable products according to internal procedures
• Assist chefs and cooks with basic kitchen tasks, such as preparation of hot and cold meals (Halal and/or Non-Halal)
• Prepare food by washing, chopping, and dicing vegetables using knife or peeling machine(s)
• Assist with making sauces, salads, and marinating foods
• Responsible to always keeping the immediate work area clean
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook
• Report problems with the food safety management system to the manager and the hygiene and food safety team
• Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, heavy workload and standing for a prolonged period as necessary
• Able to move, lift, carry, pull or push as needed
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• High level of self-organization and quality-oriented
• Able to work in a cold or hot environment
• Flexibility (able to work different shifts – days, nights, weekends, holidays)
