Job summary

Smart Care Solutions is hiring a Dual Service Technician in Allentown, PA. You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial foodservice equipment including refrigeration, cooking, beverage, and dish machines.

You will read diagrams, work with manufacturers to resolve issues, replace parts, and ensure top‑level customer service while following safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands‑on technical experience (refrigeration, appliance repair, HVAC, military, or similar)
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Experience with ice machines and commercial refrigeration systems in supermarkets, restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, and other commercial facilities
• Flexibility to participate in on‑call rotations (nights and weekends)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Possess and maintain all licenses, certifications, and registrations required to service commercial hot‑side and cold‑side equipment
• Valid state‑issued Real ID driver's license with a clean driving history

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on commercial foodservice equipment including refrigeration, cooking, beverage equipment, and dish machines
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and ability to read diagrams and schematics
• Partner with manufacturers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Replace parts, recommend system improvements, and deliver excellent customer service
• Follow safety protocols, document service work, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
