You will prepare quality food for the hot case and deli, maintain sanitation, and support kitchen operations. This fast-paced role requires a culinary background and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring product consistency.

Qualifications

• Culinary training or equivalent (2 years) experience required.
• Over 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen work flow.
• Knowledge of weights and measures.
• Able to prioritize work and handle multiple concurrent tasks.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift 20 pounds on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality food goods in a consistent standardized manner for the full service case.
• Serve customers from hot case and deli.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization and all standards of sanitation and safety.
• Maintain quality assurance and consistency of finished products.
• Assist in recognition and communication of perishables as well as supplies for the kitchen to superiors.
• As needed, prepare the storeroom, freezer, and walk-ins for inventory.
