Rock Creek Senior Living in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Server (PRN) to greet residents, assist in dining areas, and help ensure a welcoming, well-run meal service. The role involves standing, moving, and light lifting, with opportunities for growth and team recognition.

The position offers a people-centered environment with competitive pay ($16–$20.25 per hour) and benefits, and a schedule that varies as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must read, write, understand, and communicate in English at an 8th grade level or higher.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, and after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome, be present in the dining room, mingle, and foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Bussing and prepping for service, including setting tables and handling silverware for service.
• Assist with cleaning and keeping the community tidy to maintain a welcoming environment.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness staff regarding residents' dietary needs and changes.
